South Valley Chivas Academy player, Amber Hernandez has earned a spot on the Mexican U17 Women National Team which will compete in the 2010 Women U17 World Cup to be held during the month of September in Trinidad and Tobago.

After winning the GU11 championship at the Mayors Cup in Orange, Ca on March 7-8, 2009, a weekend later on March 14-15, 2009 the team did the same feat but this time playing up and competing in the GU12 division at the Presidents Cup in Bakersfield, Ca.
