Mission

 Our mission is to offer a competitive soccer program that makes player development its central focus while using the “Chivas Way” philosophy.   South Valley Chivas Academy is dedicate to the development of  players for CD Chivas USA, CD Chivas Guadalajara, national and collegiate teams.  SVCA will emphasize in the long-term development of players in all aspects of soccer including the technical, tactical, physical and psychological areas of our player’s development within an academy environment. SVCA makes an effort to provide at-risk and under-represented youth from disadvantaged surrounding communities with the opportunities for athletics, educational and cultural development.

South Valley Chivas Academy is committed in the development of player for CD Chivas USA, CD Chivas Guadalajara, and collegiate teams.  SVCA is committed in being one of the best soccer academy in the state of California at helping our players maximize their development in order to succeed both at the professional and collegiate level.
 

Philosophy

South Valley Chivas Academy is dedicated in teaching the “Chivas Way” philosophy which consists of:
The identification of players for CD Chivas USA and CD Chivas Gudalajara.

• Offensive oriented and dominant style of play.
• Program of high standards.
• Maintain an internal manner of conduct, positive of CD Chivas USA and CD Chivas Guadalaja, to have uniformity in rules and penalties.
• Provide personal development opportunites for each member of South Valley Chivas Academy.

Beside the “Chivas Way” philosophy our academy believes in the value of creating a competitive training environment which will challenge and instill in our members a high demand of excellence.  SVCA will train our players to be exceptional players, with exceptional abilities to prepare them for college, national and professional level of play.  SVCA believes in developing all the technical, tactical, physical and psychological factors that the game demands. SVCA players will develop a solid foundation of the the game and the proper tools to compete at the highest level.
